"Test the waters" to help decide if you're ready for an ongoing relationship with a financial planner.

Four Types of Planning Packages Available

1, 2, 3, or 6 month time frames with a max number of hours per package

Looking for
Comprehensive Planning Instead?

When you're ready to commit to a longer term relationship

Seagrass Financial offers Fixed-Term Financial Planning packages.  A package can be a good way for you to “test the waters” to figure out if you want to initiate an ongoing relationship, or to provide a step-by-step roadmap if you prefer to do it yourself.

Once you've signed an advisory agreement, we'll meet one or more times to answer your questions, analyze your situation, and discuss alternatives.  After we've decided upon a course of action, I'm available to help you implement your decisions and answer follow-up questions.  Once your package expires, you can initiate a new package as needed, or begin an ongoing financial planning relationship.

See below for some examples of questions that we might cover as part of a fixed-term financial planning package.

  • Which investments should I choose inside my retirement accounts?

  • I’m maxing out my retirement accounts.  What should I do next?

  • I just inherited some money.  What should I do with it?

  • I’m self-employed.  How can I save for retirement?

  • I want to buy a house in a few years.  How much do I need to save?

  • How should I handle stock awards from my employer?

  • Which employee benefits are best for my situation?

  • I’m getting married.  How should we merge our finances?

  • How much and which type of life insurance do I need?

  • How should I save for college for my kids?

  • How much money do I need in order to stop working?

  • When should I start taking Social Security?

We offer four types of packages, each with a maximum number of hours and an expiration date.  We will help you choose the package that makes sense for you based on the type of help you need.
